Why?

Security ~ If someone successfully completes this course they may want to show their certificate to their employer / potential employer. To give the certificate authenticity we need you to login.

Each certificate is numbered so that employers can verify a certificate using the Employers link at the bottom of the home page. This can only happen if you give them your certificate number.
